Slicing solutions utilize either stainless steel or ultrasonic blade systems. Mechanical stainless steel blades are best for hard, cold or frozen products and ultrasonic blades are used for fresh, delicate or sticky products. Robotic mounted blades can be used for additional flexibility of cut patterns and shapes. FoodTools proprietary Divider Inserts can be automatically inserted between each slice of round cakes with our round product cutting machines.
Reciprocating blades slice cakes and breads into horizontal layers and wire harps cut butter, cheese, and other dairy products into portions. To form cake and pie crusts a spinning platform and press plow are used and frozen cake products are removed from bottomless pans using pusher plates.
