At IBA, alongside our existing solutions, we are pleased to introduce a new anti-stick coating that is free from PFAS and shows excellent results in terms of durability and anti-stick effect!
The PFAS challenge:
PFASs, which are the main components of today's commercial anti-stick coatings, are considered "eternal chemicals" and will be banned by the EU in the next 5–10 years. They pose a significant environmental problem as they are not degradable. Our innovative coating, on the other hand, uses an alternative technology and will soon enter the second phase of testing with real customers - an important step for the environment and the future of the baking industry.
