Automate the cleaning of baking trays with JEROS

Streamlined cleaning of up to 10.000 baking and perforated trays per day becomes a minor matter with an automatic sheet metal cleaning system from JEROS. The complete feeding technology is located in a closed stainless steel housing and the sheets are cleaned and oiled with the back side up.

Where large quantities of high-quality baked goods are produced every day, many baking and perforated trays are also needed. And they have to be squeaky clean.

Employees are facilitated by the hours of monotonous and physically demanding work. With the fully automatic sheet metal cleaning system, the employees can be used for other and more productive work.

Functions
The complete feeding technology is in a closed stainless steel housing that is firmly anchored to the floor.

After opening the safety door, a trolley with dirty sheet metal can be easily retracted into the loading system. The heart of the system is the pneumatic lifting frame with intake diaphragms.

After the laser sensor has detected the sheets, the lifting frame lowers onto the upper sheet, fixes it and feeds it to the plastering machine.

In total, the JEROS Model 9020 has six precision-ground rotary brushes.

After a sheet has been fed into the plastering machine from the feeding unit, it first passes through a double pre-scraper, which removes coarse impurities and is then pushed by the first pair of feed rollers through the counter-rotating main cleaning brushes arranged on the top and bottom sides and pre-cleaned on both sides.

Then the second pair of transport rollers captures the sheet metal and feeds it to the other main cleaning brush, where the last coarse dirt is loosened.

In the meantime, the holes are now cleaned in the case of the perforated trays: Here, the dirt is pushed up from below with a special rotating brush and then removed from the two post-cleaning brushes.

The actual cleaning then ends with the passage of the so-called finish brush.

Before the freshly cleaned sheets fall onto the sheet metal transport trolley attached to the rear of the JEROS 9020, they pass through the finely adjustable spray lubrication device.

All plaster residues collect in the mobile stainless steel dirt trap tray below the plaster area.
