Innovation goes smart with Proxaut !

Following the takeover by the Middleby group in June 2022, we are increasingly prioritizing the development of technologies for the “protein” and “bakery” sectors, with a growing focus on automation.

Typically used to lift pallets, our AGVs are the ideal solution to meet customers’ handling and storage needs. Since 1996, Proxaut has specialised in the design and construction of plants with automated guided vehicles, drawing on the experience gained over the years in a range of fields.

Following the takeover by the Middleby group in 2022, we are increasingly prioritising the development of technologies for the “protein” and “bakery” sectors, with a growing focus on automation.

AGVs can operate in a range of fields within the production process, including manufacture, linking areas and goods storage areas. When loading and unloading operations involve fresh meat, sausages, cured meats, products for curing, bread doughs, mixes, and other fresh products, AGVs can work in temperature controlled environments, including sub-zero temperatures of up to -30C.
Our AGVs are safe and comply with food industry hygiene standards.
We use AISI 304 stainless steel for vehicles that operate in production areas in contact with food products, while the iconic red Proxaut stands out and excels in warehouses.

Working environments with a high concentration of water vapour or salt, for example refrigeration chambers or curing rooms, do not stop our AGVs, which are resistant to corrosion and can move easily even in poor visibility, thanks to the combined and hybrid guidance system.

At the IBA 2023 trade fair, we present an innovative, streamlined and high-performance vehicle with a load capacity of under 1000 kg. With this new model in the LIFTER series, we embrace a new market segment and offer solutions for customers who need to move smaller loads, but without compromising on innovation.
