Sustainability is the highest value that defines HY5. And this is not just empty talk! Sustainability applies to the three pillars of ecological, economic, and social sustainability.
We ensure that our HY5s are as sustainable as possible in accordance with these three pillars.
To make this even more concrete, we align ourselves with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that the United Nations (UN) has developed.
HY5 commits to the following goals (Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)):
SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being

Skin intolerances, sweating, allergic reactions, etc. - all these things can occur when wearing gloves made of various materials. Due to the pollutant-free fabrics from which our HY5 are made, we ensure the health and well-being of your employees. The food safety and the harmlessness in terms of pollutants have been confirmed by TÜV Rheinland.
SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth
All components of HY5 are made of 100% cotton. The fabrics and other textile components of HY5 that we source are GOTS-certified. This is guaranteed by our GOTS-certified fabric suppliers. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) represents sustainable and decent textile production of organic quality. It is one of the strictest recognized certifications in the world.
SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities
Through our cooperation with a workshop that is part of Lebenshilfe (a support organization), people with disabilities can be integrated into the labor market. The meaningful and positive employment they receive through the production of our HY5 allows them to perform a fair and at the same time purposeful job.
SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production
This aspect particularly connects the core messages of SDGs 3, 8, and 12. Because through the demonstrably more sustainable production, everyone involved in the life cycle of a HY5 benefits in the end:
